Crayhill Capital Management LP is a New York-based alternative asset management firm that specializes in asset-based, private credit opportunities and generating attractive risk-adjusted returns across credit and economic cycles.

We are seeking a Summer Analyst / Associate to assist in the due diligence and execution of asset-based private credit investments. The position will be based in New York and report directly to senior investment professionals. Specific activities for the role include: (i) performing company-specific operational, financial, valuation due diligence, (ii) conducting market-specific research and analysis, (iii) developing detailed financial models, and (iv) formulating investment theses based on the above. Following the internship program, Crayhill is looking to add full-time positions beginning Summer 2020.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, screen and research investment opportunities through in-depth company research and asset performance analysis
  • Synthesize relevant market research to test and inform investment theses
  • Develop and review asset-specific and corporate statement financial models
  • Maintain and enhance asset class and industry databases
  • Design and implement liability structure including waterfall features and performance triggers
  • Prepare investment memorandums and analysis for presentation internal investment committees and external investors



  • 3-4 years of work experience in investment banking / investment management industry, significant buyside experience preferred
  • Graduating in 2020 from a top tier MBA or JD/MBA program
  • Experience in structured credit, ABS/RMBS and / or leveraged finance
  • Strong excel skills and complex modeling ability
  • Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced-environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented approach
  • Experience with data mining tools such as Tableau and Python a plus
